Mandi Lawson, CSCS

Mandi is not only recognized as an avid athlete and expert in sports performance training, but more importantly a role model and mentor for helping kids maximize their athletic potential. With her contagious enthusiasm, focused energy, and passion for athletics and life, she continues to motivate, challenge and inspire kids to reach peak performance. Her expertise has been relied on by amateur and professional organizations and players including the AVP, NCAA, Federacion Puertorriquena de Voleibol, Mira Costa High School Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, Water Polo and Track, South Bay AYSO, Force Soccer Club, Surfside Volleyball Club, South Bay Volleyball Club and El Segundo Gunners.

She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a Certified Speed, Agility and Quickness Trainer (SAQ) through the National Endurance & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA), a Certified Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), an active participant in Vern Gambetta Sports Training Systems and holds four certifications in group fitness cycling.

A native of Manhattan Beach, CA, her outstanding athletic achievements garnered her numerous awards, including a Full Athletic Scholarship to UCLA, Most Improved Player-UCLA, Mizuno All American Volleyball Player-Mira Costa High School, Student/Athlete of the Year-Mira Costa High School and Captain Mira Costa High School and Hurricane’s Soccer Club.

She is also committed to inspiring people in the health and fitness club industry and currently teaches at numerous fitness clubs in the Los Angeles area, including Spectrum Health Club, Crunch Fitness, Gorilla Sports, LA Fitness and 24 Hour Fitness. Mandi received her B.A. in Business/Economics from the University of California Los Angeles.
